Retailers use iD Cloud to stay in control of what is happening across their stores. The Store application supports more and more of their daily operation: from understanding inventory and stock counts to seeing whether expected activities on the shop floor have actually been completed. As our customer base grows and larger enterprise retailers adopt iD Cloud, what they expect from the application is changing as well.
The next step is to develop Store beyond a primarily process-driven application into an environment that also gives store employees and managers richer, more relevant insights. As a Fullstack Developer, you help build that next phase. You develop new features for iD Cloud Store and work across the full web stack. In our current architecture, Ruby forms the middleware layer and Vue.js powers the frontend. You do not need to know this exact combination already; what matters more is that you have experience with modern web development and deliberately choose a role in which you work across frontend and backend.
Together with a growing development team, you shape how new functionality is designed technically, how we keep the application dependable as usage grows, and how we expose data in ways that retailers can actually use in their daily operation.
