IT Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across multiple complex projects.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Design and implement solutions that align with business objectives and operational needs.
• Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.
• Manage project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines.
• Facilitate testing, user training, change management, and solution adoption.
• Analyse existing systems and recommend enhancements and technology improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Support data-driven decision-making through data analysis and reporting initiatives.

Requirements

• 12-15 years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related IT roles.
• Relevant degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong experience delivering technology and business improvement projects.
• Proven project leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills.
• Experience working with relational databases and data analysis.
• SQL experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Advantageous Experience

• FMCG, distribution, manufacturing, or related industry exposure.
• Software development experience.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Experience with AI-driven solutions and automation initiatives.
• Exposure to HTML5, Blazor, C#, .NET, SQL, Syspro, and Tableau.
