POSITION INFO:
An established organisation is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant to join its finance team in City Deep . This is an exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional who has built a strong foundation in accounting and is ready to take the next step by gaining valuable exposure to cost accounting, financial analysis, reporting and variance analysis . Responsibilities: BCom, Degree or Diploma Assist with day-to-day cost accounting functions Support the preparation and analysis of cost information Assist with Debtors and Creditors processing Process and reconcile financial transactions Assist with account and supplier reconciliations Analyse financial information and investigate variances Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Prepare Excel-based reports and financial schedules Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations Support the finance team with ad hoc analysis and projects Assist with general finance administration as required Qualifications & Skills: 2-4 years' finance\/accounting experience Debtors experience essential Creditors experience essential Strong Excel skills non-negotiable Cost accounting or financial analysis exposure advantageous Logistics industry experience advantageous If you're ready to take your accounting career to the next level and gain valuable hands-on exposure to cost accounting, Debtors, Creditors and financial analysis, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
