Die Attach/DACA Equipment Sustaining Engineer
About the Role
As a Senior Equipment Sustaining Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining ASM and Quick equipment to ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency within semiconductor assembly manufacturing. You will play a key role in supporting production, resolving equipment issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Ensure optimum performance and reliability of ASM and Quick equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment-related issues.
- Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor and improve equipment KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Support equipment qualifications, validation, and new product introductions (NPI).
- Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
What You Will Need
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering.
Must Have
- Hands-on experience supporting ASM and/or Quick equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience in equipment sustaining within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D, and CAPA methodologies.
- Experience in equipment qualification and validation activities.
Good to Have
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with MES, Factory Automation, or Industry 4.0 applications.
- Knowledge of automation systems and equipment upgrades
