About the Role :
Norwin Technologies is looking for an experienced HCI Principal Engineer / Solutions Architect with strong expertise in Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI). The ideal candidate will have advanced hands-on technical skills in Nutanix administration, infrastructure troubleshooting and scripting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, configure and support enterprise Nutanix HCI environments.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues related to hyperconverged platforms.
- Perform advanced technical administration and operational support at L3 level.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, availability and capacity.
- Investigate and resolve incidents involving compute, storage and virtualisation components.
- Use scripting to automate routine infrastructure administration and operational tasks.
- Support infrastructure maintenance, configuration changes and optimisation activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, virtualisation and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Follow established operational procedures and ensure infrastructure stability and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Nutanix HCI at L3 level.
- Experience in advanced infrastructure administration, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, Bash or an equivalent scripting tool.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and virtualisation concepts.
- Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and work independently on escalated incidents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Nutanix AHV, Prism Element and Prism Central.
- Exposure to VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or other virtualisation technologies.
- Understanding of compute, storage and networking in hyperconverged environments.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Knowledge of enterprise data centre operations, high availability and disaster recovery.
