Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager - Delivery Lead who combines strong delivery management capabilities with a solid software engineering background.
The successful candidate will drive end-to-end delivery of an Agentic AI platform/product, including AI-driven workflows, orchestration frameworks, integrations and scalable platform services.
This is a hands-on technical delivery leadership role that goes beyond traditional Scrum Master responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should be able to understand engineering architecture, assess technical risks, challenge delivery assumptions, remove execution bottlenecks and ensure predictable, high-quality product releases.
Important : Prior hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead or Engineering Lead is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own end-to-end delivery of Agentic AI platform and product development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, Product Managers and engineering leadership to drive execution.
- Track sprint commitments, milestones, delivery velocity, dependencies, risks and release schedules.
- Identify delivery bottlenecks, resolve execution issues and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups and retrospectives, wherever required.
- Evaluate technical progress, challenge unrealistic assumptions and proactively identify delivery risks.
- Establish delivery metrics, engineering KPIs, governance processes and reporting mechanisms.
- Improve estimation accuracy, planning discipline, engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Support the delivery of AI agents, AI orchestration frameworks, integrations, platform services and cloud-native capabilities.
- Maintain accountability for delivery quality, timelines and stakeholder alignment.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, product development, technical program management, engineering delivery or technical project management.
- Mandatory prior hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead or Engineering Lead.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, engineering practices and product delivery.
- Hands-on exposure to Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
- Experience managing large, cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Strong expertise in risk management, dependency management, stakeholder communication and delivery governance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, architects and senior technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management and platform engineering.
- Experience managing distributed engineering teams and multiple delivery dependencies.
- Ability to use delivery metrics and engineering KPIs to improve execution and predictability.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working with AI/ML, Generative AI or Agentic AI engineering teams.
- Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks, AI-driven workflows and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience delivering scalable software products or platform services.
- Strong technical problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills.
