Senior Network Engineer - Deployments

NVIDIA’s Network Deployment team is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic, results-driven organization. In this role, you will take ownership of complex network deployment projects while also providing technical expertise for escalated operational challenges.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in routing, switching, and network automation, along with the ability to design, plan, and lead large-scale Enterprise Networking initiatives from concept through deployment. What you'llbe doing:

• Designs, plans and coordinates the implementation of network technologies in support of defined requirements generated by business and growth demands

• Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedulesand produce detailed designs for assigned projects

• Produce work breakdown structures that demonstrateunderstanding of proposed changes and how the change will be implemented with minimal service impact

• Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly sophisticated networking problems

• You'llbuild simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly significant problems and compatibility issues

• Prepare and maintainup to date documentation detailing configurationof deployed solutions. Generates network configurations and run books.

• Plans and drives highly complexnetwork upgradeand migration activityincluding highly automated environments. This can include quarterly maintenance events involving multiple coordinated changes with diverse stakeholders.

• Provides mentorship and technical leadership for existing network team members & partner teams during outages, downtimes where both technical and business communication skills are vital.

What we need to see:

• BS.cor equivalent experience

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering support environment

• Experience and expertisein network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment. Some design experience is also a requirement.

• WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN)

• Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, eBGP/BGP, PIM Multicast)

• Diverse skills in client and network operating systems such as Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista EOS, etc.

• Virtualization & Overlay technologies, both networking (VxLAN, BGP-MP, VRFs) and compute(VMware, Kubernetes, Docker) and their various methods for integration.

• High level internetworking problem solving in an enterprise and web scale network environments

• Expertisein collaborating with vendors to run circuit delivery, problem solvingand migrations

• CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus

Experience connecting AI agents with network APIs, automation frameworks, telemetry, and orchestration toolsto improve scalability, reduce manual effort, and accelerate network delivery.

• Be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in the organization; develop procedural documentation; develop and conduct effective presentations; and optimally demonstrateproducts and solutions

• Ability to connect new technologyinitiatives to cost savings and return on investment calculations.
