Your mission

• We are looking for a motivated Trading Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) to support us in the green revolution of the electricity market as a digital and smart electricity provider.

• As a key member of our Trading team, you will take full ownership of the infrastructure that powers our trading platform.

Your tasks

• Provide and maintain compute infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring for our trading systems, and manage associated cloud costs

• Own system architecture for our trading platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance

• Manage exchange connectivity and provide engineering support across our trading infrastructure

• Drive how we build with AI: roll out coding agents, set shared agent rules and guardrails, and keep MCP integrations and context docs consistent across repos

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science or similar and 4+ years of experience in trading infrastructure engineering or a related field

• Proven ability to write production-grade code (Python or similar), following best engineering practices (Git, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews)

• Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, including operating compute (e.g. ECS, Lambda), data and messaging services (e.g. Firehose, SQS, Postgres, DynamoDB, S3), and monitoring (CloudWatch)

• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) and observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting)

• Experience with MLOps and ML infrastructure, e.g. model training, deployment, scheduling, data processing and monitoring in cloud environments

• Strong understanding of system architecture design for high-availability, low-latency systems

• Familiarity with AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflows

• Excellent communication skills in English (B2-C1)

Nice to have

• Experience with exchange connectivity (e.g. EPEX / EEX or ISVs)

• Experience with Ray and Airflow

• Experience with Terraform

• Understanding of European energy markets

• German language skills

• Previous start-up experience
