Debtors Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Debtors Coordinator to join our finance team at Pepkor Lifestyle. The Debtors Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate records of customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to resolve customer issues in a professional manner.

Core Responsibilities:

• Obtaining reports from various platforms to reconcile and allocate payments accurately
• Query resolution - Follow up on outstanding queries
• Receiving and processing of customer refunds
• Deal effectively and timeously with customer complaints and ensure that the complaints are resolved or escalated in line with agreed standards
• Control of fraudulent credit card administration/Charge backs received from Banks
• Review and reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes with customer accounts

• Manage colleagues and customers expectations and communicate appropriately

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred
• 3-5 years collections experience
• Previous credit control/online knowledge
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
