PriceShape is a software company that offers AI-based pricing and retail analytics to retailers and brands. It sells through account executives and customer success managers and runs marketing technology operations in Denmark and Sweden. The company is headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark.

Want to own outcomes, not just output?

At PriceShape, we’re looking for a Product Manager who cares less about whether something shipped and more about whether it worked.

We’re strengthening our product organisation, and you’ll join at a stage where you can influence not only what we build, but how we build it. Together with our Head of Product, designers and engineers, you’ll help create solutions that make a measurable difference for our customers and our business.

About the Role

As our Product Manager, your job is to make sure what we build reaches customers, gets used, and moves a number we care about.

You’ll work as part of a Product Trio with a designer and a tech lead, as peers throughout discovery and delivery. You bring the view of the customer and the business; they bring design and technical expertise. Together, you decide what to build.

We believe great product management is about understanding why something matters, making decisions based on evidence and learning from what works - and what doesn’t. Shipping a feature is not the finish line. The outcome moving is.

What You’ll Be Doing

Understand our customers and market

  • Make direct customer contact a weekly habit, not an intention.

  • Identify customer challenges, unmet needs and where our product falls short today.

  • Know our competitive landscape well enough to say where we’re better, where we’re worse and what has quietly become table stakes.

  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to turn customer feedback into well-understood problems, not a list of requests.

Drive measurable outcomes

  • Agree your team’s outcomes each quarter with the Head of Product, and define how success is measured.

  • Decide which opportunities your team pursues, based on customer value, business impact and evidence.

  • Test the riskiest assumptions first, and test them cheaply.

  • Work directly with product data to understand whether an outcome actually moved.

Build great products together

  • Bring engineers and designers into the problem early, where they add the most value.

  • Give the team the context it needs to make good decisions without you in the room: the strategy, the customer, the constraints and why it matters now.

  • Resolve disagreements by testing assumptions, not by rank.

Connect Product with the Business

  • Build strong relationships across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Data & AI.

  • Keep commercial teams informed on what’s changed, what’s coming next - and what’s no longer coming, and why.

  • Treat pricing, packaging, legal and data protection as product questions to understand early, not afterthoughts.

What this role is not

We write this down deliberately, because each of these has been called product management somewhere:

  • Not a backlog administrator. A backlog that’s always ready is not the measure of this job.

  • Not a project manager. Project managers answer for when. This role answers for why, and for whether it worked.

  • Not an order taker. Requests from stakeholders and customers are input, not instructions.

  • Not the boss of the team. No one reports to this role. Your authority comes from evidence and judgment.

Help shape the future of Product at PriceShape

As AI and agents take on more of the building, the constraint shifts. We’ll be able to build more, faster - including more of the wrong things. That makes good product decisions more valuable than ever.

Over time, this role will move from reviewing individual pieces of work towards encoding judgment: personas, product principles and experiment frameworks that help the team make good decisions without needing to be gated. You’ll help shape what that looks like here.

What We’re Looking For

You enjoy getting close to customers, asking questions and challenging assumptions. You’re comfortable making decisions based on evidence, and equally comfortable deferring when someone else holds the relevant expertise.

You don’t need to have all the answers. What matters is your ability to ask the right questions, bring people together and turn insight into results.

We imagine you bring:

  • Experience working as a Product Manager, preferably within B2B SaaS.

  • Hands-on experience with product discovery, customer interviews and assumption testing.

  • A track record of working towards measurable outcomes rather than simply delivering features.

  • Confidence working directly with product data.

  • Experience working as a peer with engineering and design.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give straight answers about what is and isn’t coming.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience within pricing, e-commerce, retail or brands.

  • Experience with data-heavy products, where the product is the data itself.

  • Familiarity with SQL or product analytics tools.

  • Experience with or a genuine interest in how AI is changing product work.

You don’t need to tick every box. If you recognise yourself in the role, we’d love to hear from you.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Real ownership: Accountability for meaningful outcomes, with the mandate to say no and to stop things.

  • A chance to shape something: Help establish how our product organisation works as it grows.

  • Empowered collaboration: Work as a peer with designers and engineers, and closely with our commercial teams.

  • Support and development: Regular coaching and feedback from our Head of Product.

  • Room to experiment: An environment where curiosity, testing and learning are expected.

  • An international workplace: Colleagues from 25+ nationalities across disciplines and markets.

  • Flexibility and balance: Flexible working hours, social activities, pension, health insurance and modern offices in Aarhus and Stockholm.
