As a Lead/Senior Data Analyst at PropertyGuru, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to define metrics, conduct in-depth analysis, and create impactful visualizations. Your expertise in data exploration, analysis, and technical tools will be essential in supporting our data-driven culture.

As a Guru you will be accountable for:

• Creatively exploring data to uncover insights that inform business decisions and translating complex findings into compelling narratives for the business.
• Partnering with business stakeholders to define and evaluate key metrics for business success and progress, and assisting stakeholders in understanding data changes and trends
• Investigating questions around user experiments and providing insights to understand the reasons behind outcomes, ensuring that analyses are repeatable and accessible for future use.
• Building clear and simple Tableau dashboards and presentations to visualize data insights and trends, ensuring that visualizations are user-friendly and effectively communicate key information.
• Utilizing relational databases (BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL) and authoring queries using SQL, leveraging experience with Google Analytics to enhance data analysis.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience as a data analyst with a strong background in data exploration, analysis, and visualization, including hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL query authoring.
• Brings a curious, hypothesis-driven mindset with deep expertise in A/B testing and experimentation - designing, running, and interpreting experiments to drive product and business decisions. Proficiency in experimentation platforms such as Statsig, Mixpanel, or similar tools is required.
• Is proficient in Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Has strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business insights.
• Is proficient in data visualization, with the ability to create impactful dashboards and presentations across tools.
• Has working knowledge of web and product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel, with experience interpreting user behavior and funnel data.
• Has experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, dbt, or similar) - a plus.
• Has exposure to SEO and/or performance marketing analytics - a plus.
• Is open-minded and proactive about integrating AI tools into their workflow - whether for automating repetitive tasks, accelerating analysis, or exploring new ways AI can enhance data-driven decision making.
