Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering to help lead our growing engineering organization.

This role combines engineering leadership, delivery ownership, technical direction, and people management. You will work closely with engineering teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure complex software projects are delivered with strong technical quality, clear ownership, and consistent engineering standards.

You will also play an important role in shaping how Radity adopts AI across software engineering, internal development practices, and client solutions.

Your Role

You will lead engineering teams across multiple projects, support technical and architectural decisions, develop engineering talent, and continuously improve how our teams design, build, and deliver software.

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader who can combine strong technical judgment with people leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop software engineering teams across complex client projects
• Own engineering quality, technical direction, and delivery standards
• Guide architecture, system design, and major technical decisions
• Coach engineering leads and developers and support their professional growth
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
• Improve engineering processes, development practices, and team effectiveness
• Support project planning, technical estimation, and delivery risk management
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams and projects
• Contribute to hiring, team structure, and engineering capability development

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• English proficiency: minimum B2, ideally C1
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Technical Manager, or similar senior engineering leader
• Strong technical background in software engineering, ideally with experience in TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar modern technologies
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices
• Experience leading the delivery of complex enterprise software projects
• Experience managing and developing senior engineers and technical leads
• Strong ownership of engineering quality, delivery, and technical decision-making
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and an interest in driving AI adoption across engineering teams
• Experience in insurance or InsurTech is a strong plus
