A major public-sector institution is seeking a Power Platform Programmer Analyst to spearhead the evolution, hardening, and governance of its digital project-management ecosystem. Embedded within the enterprise project management office (PMO), you will act as a consultative technical leader responsible for reviewing early-stage automations and engineering clean, durable, and intuitive workflows. This role is built for a proactive professional who combines technical agility with clear communication, translating business needs into straightforward digital solutions without over-engineering.

100% remote work arrangement providing flexibility and balance.
Advisory leadership position with significant ownership and visible organizational impact.
Strong likelihood of contract extension following the initial budgetary period.

Competitive contract rate aligned with market standards.
Responsibilities
Audit, streamline, and reinforce current Power Automate workflows to enhance reliability, minimize maintenance, and improve overall system health.
Architect and implement end-to-end automations connecting Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Lists, Planner, and Power Automate to optimize request intakes and phase tracking.
Design straightforward, user-friendly Power Apps interfaces tailored to non-technical business users.
Build insightful Power BI dashboards to support portfolio oversight, tactical planning, and executive reporting.
Identify and execute quick wins while establishing sustainable governance patterns aligned with public-sector transition standards.
Maintain regular visibility on deliverables, provide transparent progress updates, and conduct comprehensive knowledge transfers for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
3 to 4 years of solid experience designing and delivering solutions across the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform suite.
Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Power Automate, Microsoft Lists, Forms, Power Apps, and Power BI.
Collaborative advisory mindset with strong active-listening skills and a talent for technical simplification.
High degree of self-direction, proactive problem-solving, and accountability in a remote setting.
Prior experience delivering similar optimization initiatives in government, healthcare, or public institutions (strong asset).
Full professional proficiency in French and functional fluency in English.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
Summary
Location: 100% Remote (Quebec / Canada)
Employment Type: Contract (3–4 months with strong extension potential)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Interview Process: Single interview round
