About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, microservices, and cloud-native architecture. The role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, highly available, and high-performing enterprise applications and cloud solutions while providing technical direction across development and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and define scalable solution architectures on Microsoft Azure for enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Lead architecture for cloud-native, microservices-based, and distributed applications.
- Define application architecture, technology stacks, integration patterns, and technical standards aligned with business requirements.
- Review and guide development of applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Design and implement secure and scalable REST APIs, distributed services, and service-to-service integrations.
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, Clean Architecture, and software engineering best practices.
- Design highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable Azure solutions with appropriate focus on performance and cost optimization.
- Evaluate existing applications and define modernization, migration, and cloud transformation strategies.
- Design integrations with SQL Server and other enterprise data platforms.
- Define authentication, authorization, data protection, and other cloud and application security controls.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development, DevOps, and engineering teams.
- Work closely with Product, Business, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
- Identify and resolve architectural, performance, scalability, integration, and reliability challenges.
- Establish and enforce coding, architecture, security, deployment, and cloud best practices.
- Support technical estimation, solution planning, technology evaluation, and architecture decision-making.
- Define and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, reference architectures, and design guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform architecture, engineering practices, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 10 - 15 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise application architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-native solution design.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of REST API architecture, integration patterns, messaging, and service-to-service communication.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, Clean Architecture, and software architecture best practices.
- Experience designing highly available, secure, resilient, and scalable Azure solutions.
- Strong understanding of application security, identity and access management, authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
- Experience with SQL Server and enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud scalability, performance optimization, observability, and reliability.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable technical architectures.
