  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, accounting reports and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely submission.
  • Monitor budgeted versus actual costs and analyze financial results, operational trends, revenues, expenses and financial commitments.
  • Supervise fixed asset accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of fixed assets in accordance with company policies.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, accruals and provisions and timely completion of financial closing requirements.
  • Oversee tax-related accounting activities, including withholding tax, tax declarations and required government documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and supporting tax audits.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, provide required financial records and supporting documents, respond to audit queries and follow up on audit findings.
  • Maintain and improve accounting procedures, documentation and internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and guide the AP team, allocate workloads, review deliverables and provide technical support while coordinating with GL, Tax, Treasury and other relevant functions.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in AP/Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and AP processes.
  • Strong knowledge of GL reconciliation and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Good knowledge of VAT, withholding tax and tax audit requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting, analysis and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and supervisory skills.
