Remote Recruitment is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to turn business data into clear reports and useful insights. Based in South Africa and working fully remotely, you will help make information easier to understand and support informed decisions.

What you will do

- Clean and organise datasets, checking for missing values and inconsistencies.

- Maintain accurate reporting spreadsheets and reusable analysis files.

- Build dashboards and reports that answer agreed business questions.

- Investigate trends, changes and anomalies in the data.

- Explain findings clearly and distinguish observations from assumptions.

- Document definitions, calculations and data-quality limitations.

- Handle business information confidentially and use approved data sources.

What we are looking for

- Strong Excel skills and examples of analytical projects.

- Confidence working with formulas, structured data and data-quality checks.

- The ability to explain findings in straightforward language.

- Careful attention to accuracy and a willingness to investigate discrepancies.

- The ability to work independently and communicate progress reliably.

- Reliable internet and a suitable remote-working space.

Nice to have

- Practical SQL knowledge.

- Experience building dashboards in Power BI.

What is on offer

- Monthly remuneration of R25,000 to R32,000, depending on relevant skills and experience.
