Our public sector client is seeking a Senior ColdFusion Developer (10+ years) to maintain and modernize enterprise applications using ColdFusion, C#, and Oracle
Join a public sector initiative focused on migrating legacy ColdFusion systems and modernizing enterprise applications. This role spans technical analysis, maintenance, and development across ColdFusion, C#/.NET, and Oracle to enable stable integrations and support migration. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams while contributing to documentation, knowledge transfer, and ongoing maintenance throughout the modernization lifecycle.
Contract
Must Haves
- Hands-on ColdFusion application development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong C# and .NET development
- Oracle databases including SQL, database structures, queries, and application integration with Oracle
- Translate existing ColdFusion business logic and application functionality into C#/.NET solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience migrating ColdFusion applications to C#/.NET
- Experience with legacy application modernization and re-platforming initiatives
- Experience with Oracle stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations
- Experience with ETL processes, data migration, and data validation
Responsibilities
- Perform technical analysis of existing ColdFusion applications and business requirements to propose solutions
- Maintain legacy ColdFusion applications to support the transition to modern technologies
- Support the migration of ColdFusion applications and functionality to C#/.NET-based solutions
- Develop and enhance application code using C# and .NET technologies
- Work with Oracle databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, data structures, and integrations
- Resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues
- Document application code, technical designs, database structures, interfaces, dependencies, and migration procedures
