Do you like being challenged in designing and developing high performing software applications on force.com? We are looking for the right person with a special mix of technical ability, analytical mindset and superb communication skills.

As a Software Engineer, you would be part of an extended software engineering Ohana in IT. You will be working closely with other engineers, designers and product owners to meet the needs of our business partners. Together we are responsible for building new applications on large scale projects as well as enhancing current state functionality with new features. We need your help to make sure all the kinks are worked out before we cue the violins and make it available to all our awesome customers.

This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas, provide feedback and collaborate on many projects within the team’s portfolio that may be outside your domain expertise.

Responsibilities:

Build applications on Salesforce with a holistic mindset

Plan, design and implement highly scalable frameworks for web applications on the Desktop and Mobile.

Engage in designing applications with architects and lead engineers

The ability to implement your vision using Object Oriented design patterns

Create test suites to Test the Pyramid

Strive for 100% test coverage, using the tools you think can achieve that in the most efficient and maintainable way.

Champion best practices in SDLC, Agile, and software development.

Develop Unit/functional automated tests in Java and/or Apex

Develop test plans and test strategy

Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution

Work with quality engineers, business analysts and product owners for product delivery

Ensure product quality meets customer expectation

Required Technical Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in computer science or engineering

3+ years with Master’s or 5+ years programming in Java, C, or .net

2+ years developing on the force.com platform

2+ Experience with Web Development using server side , HTML, CSS and Javascript

Proficient in object oriented design and using design patterns

Expertise with Web Services using SOAP, REST

Strong database concepts and data modeling capabilities

Expertise in query languages using SOQL or SQL

Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment while delivering on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines

Ability to be a team player, motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results

Strong fundamentals and mastery in QE Processes

Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager

Desired Skills/Experience:

Experience with Salesforce products like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Knowledge/experience in Force.com platform (APEX, VisualForce)

Admin and/or developer certification on Force.com platform

Familiarity with Junit, Jenkins, Selenium or similar tools

Experience using Source Control Management systems

Experience with Javascript based SPA application development with tools like: Salesforce Lightning, Angular, React, Vue

Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies

Experience with Test-driven Development (TDD)

Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) process

Good understanding of Software-as-a-Service(SaaS) model and concepts

Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast pace environment
