Senior Data Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Scrums.com talent network. You will build and maintain data pipelines that feed analytics, reporting, and process mining platforms for international clients. Experience with Celonis is a priority for this role, as several active client engagements use it as their process intelligence layer.

What You Will Work On

• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines that extract data from source systems into analytics platforms
• Implement and maintain Celonis process mining configurations, data models, and integrations
• Write and optimise complex SQL for data transformation and reporting
• Build data quality monitoring and validation frameworks
• Integrate data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), CRMs, and operational databases
• Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to deliver clean, reliable datasets

What We Look For

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with production pipeline ownership
• Hands-on Celonis experience (process mining, data integration, or PQL)
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation and orchestration
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks)
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or Prefect)
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality assurance practices
