The Role
SCYTALYS is currently looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications for mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance user interfaces, driving front-end architecture decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and intuitive solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React
- Build reusable and scalable components to support long-term maintainability
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, accessible user interfaces
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience across browsers and devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices, code quality, and maintainability
- Design and evolve scalable front-end architectures, component libraries, and shared frameworks
- Define testing strategies and contribute to automated testing standards and coverage goals
- Mentor team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Front-End Development
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Strong expertise in React and its ecosystem
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
- Experience designing scalable and maintainable front-end architectures
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and client-side integrations
- Experience with performance optimization, secure coding practices, and front-end design patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and modern development practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English
