Senior Data Analyst

Data Management & Quality

−     Collect and consolidate data from the company systems, files and business sources.

−     Clean the data and check that it is accurate, complete, consistent and up to date.

−     Identify data quality issues, report them to the data owner and propose fixes.

−     Maintain data definitions and a KPI dictionary so that figures are the same across departments.

−     Protect data confidentiality and follow information security policies and access rights.

Reports & Dashboards

−     Build and update dashboards and management reports for the main KPIs.

−     Automate recurring reports wherever possible to reduce manual work.

−     Prepare ad-hoc analysis to support urgent commercial decisions.

Commercial Performance Analysis

−     Analyze sales by product, region, customer, channel, sales representative and period.

−     Compare performance against target, budget and forecast and explain the main variances.

−     Prepare sales performance, trend and variance analysis.

−     Analyze customers, key accounts and commercial opportunities.

−     Analyze profitability, prices, discounts and promotions together with Finance and the Commercial team.

Planning, Forecasting & Decision Support

−     Support the sales forecast and demand planning using historical data and analysis.

−     Analyze inventory, availability, stock movement, and slow-moving items together with Supply Chain.

−     Support management in comparing scenarios (what-if analysis).

Turn analysis results into clear findings and practical recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• −     Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Business / Commercial / Sales Analytics, including at least 2 years building reports and management dashboards.

  Successful experience presenting analysis to management.

• Printing and publishing (books and educational products). FMCG, Retail, Distribution, or any other data-driven sector is also considered.

• English proficiency: Good (reading, writing, and speaking).

• −     Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookup functions, and basic statistical analysis.

  −     Power BI or a similar BI tool.

  −     Working knowledge of databases and SQL (important advantage).

  Understanding of AI tools and how to use them in analysis work.

• −     Good understanding of sales, profitability, inventory, and customer indicators.

  −     Ability to present results to management simply and clearly.

  Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
