Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, IT operations, and other departments to streamline the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Automation: Leverage AI-driven tools and automation in daily DevOps operations to optimize deployments, monitor system health, and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
• CI/CD: Build, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications.
• Cloud Management: Manage cloud environments (AWS, OCI, GCP) and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Security: Ensure security best practices are followed in the deployment pipeline and in the infrastructure.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence.
• Collaboration with Development: Foster a culture of collaboration between development, operations, and quality assurance teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position (6-8 years).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc. ).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and improve the development and deployment pipeline.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
