A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Scheduler supporting high-voltage substation EPC projects in Thailand, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer and related stakeholders to turn contractual commitments and execution plans into integrated, logic-driven schedules. You will maintain reliable forecasts and translate schedule performance into clear management actions across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction, testing, commissioning, energization and close-out. The role also supports progress control, recovery planning and schedule governance while maintaining a reproducible audit trail. In coordination with the Project Manager, Commercial Project Manager and APAC Contract and Claim Management, you will provide schedule evidence for change management, Extension of Time, delay analysis and claim strategy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain integrated Primavera P6 schedules covering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, civil works, installation, testing, commissioning, energization and close-out, including WBS, calendars, coding, logic, durations, resources, constraints, contractual milestones and interfaces.
- Coordinate schedule inputs and commitments from internal functions, customers, contractors and suppliers, while maintaining approved baselines, schedule narratives, milestone registers and controlled revisions.
- Review time-related contract obligations, milestone dates, notices, EOT provisions, customer dependencies and liquidated-damages exposure, and maintain a contemporaneous delay-event register linked to supporting project records.
- Perform critical-path, float and Time Impact Analysis and support prospective or retrospective delay assessments, including concurrency and mitigation, to substantiate EOT, variation, acceleration, disruption, prolongation, LD defense and supplier recovery.
- Validate actual dates, remaining durations, physical progress and forecast dates using objective evidence, and analyze critical and near-critical paths, float, milestone variance, resource constraints and trends.
- Prepare dashboards, S-curves, look-aheads, variance reports and concise management narratives, and lead recovery and acceleration planning with quantified impacts and options for material schedule threats.
- Facilitate planning workshops, schedule reviews, progress meetings and recovery sessions while maintaining schedule integrity, change control, revision history and a reproducible audit trail.
- Promote standardized scheduling methods, templates, quality checks and lessons learned across the Thailand portfolio.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience on complex engineering, construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
- Advanced hands-on Primavera P6 capability is mandatory, with working proficiency in Microsoft Project; experience with ProjectHub, SERIIM, Planisware, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, SAP and digital automation tools is relevant to the role.
- Practical experience in delay analysis, Extension of Time, contract administration or claim support is required; high-voltage substation, transmission or comparable EPC experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong project-controls capabilities across planning and scheduling, forecasting, risk, change and claims management, governance, workflow management, quality assurance and Environmental Health & Safety engagement.
- Effective stakeholder and team-management skills, including influencing, negotiation, customer relationship management and communication with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Thai.
- Certifications or training such as CAPM, PMP, Oracle Primavera P6 Professional, EPC Contract Management, FIDIC Contract Management, AACE PSP, PMI-SP, forensic delay analysis or other relevant contract training are advantageous or preferred.
