Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager specializing in Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) to oversee a major investment project at their Nuenen site. The role involves leading the CSU activities for new equipment installations, including a UHT system, homogeniser, and aseptic storage tank, ensuring the project meets quality, validation, and timeline standards for successful operational startup.
Responsibilities
-Develop and implement the overall CSU strategy and detailed plan.
-Lead the CSU phase from mechanical completion through to first commercial production.
-Act as the main point of contact for all CSU stakeholders, coordinating between project teams, site operations, suppliers, quality assurance, and the customer.
-Support and oversee qualification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with project and customer specifications.
-Incorporate product acceptance criteria and customer-specific requirements into the start-up process.
-Identify potential risks, challenge assumptions, and establish practical timelines with clear milestones.
-Maintain open communication with the customer regarding project progress, risks, and timeline adjustments.
Review project planning and develop realistic, achievable schedules to meet critical deadlines.
Requirements
-Proven experience as a CSU Manager in large-scale food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, or process industry projects.
-Strong knowledge of commissioning, qualification, validation, and start-up methodologies.
-Experience managing stakeholder relationships, including customer interface.
-Ability to challenge plans constructively and offer practical solutions.
-Excellent communication and leadership skills.
-VCA certification (preferably VCA-vol), with fluency in both English and Dutch.
