SnapSoft is an AWS Premier Tier Consulting Partner delivering Cloud Migration, AI/ML, and Application Development services to startups and SMBs across North America and EMEA. We partner closely with AWS field teams to help our clients move faster on AWS, and our Sales team is central to that partnership.
We're looking for a US based Senior Account Executive to own full-cycle sales engagements for our AWS Professional and Managed Services business. This is a field-facing role: success depends on being present in the AWS ecosystem, earning trust with AWS sellers, and converting that trust into a healthy, well-managed pipeline. You'll work closely with AWS Account Executives and Partner Sales Managers (PSMs) to identify opportunities, shape co-sell strategy, and close business with Startups and SMBs.
What you’ll do
Own full-cycle sales engagements from discovery to close, taking a consultative and strategic approach to client development
Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, balancing new customer acquisition with account growth based on customer and segment needs
Build and maintain trusting relationships with AWS sellers and account teams, engaging in person at AWS offices to nurture the relationship and identify co-sell opportunities
Collaborate directly with AWS field teams to drive the full co-sell cycle from opportunity referral through close
Proactively generate pipeline through outbound prospecting - cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and lead-gen platforms - alongside AWS-sourced referrals
Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, leading problem definition and solution discussions in partnership with internal Pre-Sales and technical teams
Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Sales Operations to design solutions that maximize value for the customer, AWS, and SnapSoft
Independently lead proposal development, quoting, and deal negotiation
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in the CRM, and report proactively on pipeline health and forecast accuracy
Partner with the PMO and customer project leadership to resolve escalated issues and protect long-term customer and AWS satisfaction
Mentor junior Sales colleagues and contribute to playbooks, best practices, and internal knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you will bring
3+ years of experience in a sales role at an AWS Solutions Integrator (SI) Professional / Managed Services partner
Direct experience working with AWS Startup (SUP) and SMB segment sales teams
Existing relationships within the AWS field - AWS Account Executives, Partner Sales Managers (PSMs), and related stakeholders
Strong understanding of the AWS co-sell motion, including ACE opportunity registration and the AO lifecycle
A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in AWS Professional or Managed Services
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to both clients and AWS partners
Based within 1 hour of travel time to an AWS Hub in New York City, San Francisco, or Austin
What we offer
Competitive base salary: $135,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
Attractive commission plan: Total on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $350,000-$400,000.
