What you will be doing
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team/s under his/ her supervision, ensuring the delivery of services in accordance with the GSSC’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) and/ or KPIs with the Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the team under his/ her supervision and its staff are meeting their KPIs/ SLAs. Prepare timely and accurate monthly management and reports related to the performance of the team under supervision. Prepare, review, and discuss business reports for the divisions/ offices supported in accordance with the team’s Service Level Agreements.
- Manage, motivate, and develop the team, which includes regular coaching, performance appraisals, and discussion of staff’s individual development plan.
- Ensure that the team has a sound resiliency plan, including a working back-up system and complete and updated process documentation.
- Develop and roll out continuous improvement projects within the processes. Build and sustain good relationships with the customers and counterparts.
- Ensure that the internal controls under his/ her supervision are in compliance with IFRS, Stolt-Nielsen’s policies and procedures, and/or with the applicable GAAP, and statutory requirements.
- Handle other tasks assigned from time to time. This may include projects related to migrations, improvement, or other business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any business-related courses.
- At least 6 years combined working experience; 4 years in a particular process area, 2 years in an SSC setting.
- Experience in process migration, a plus.
- Experience in process improvement, PMP/Prince/Six Sigma an advantage.
