We are seeking a highly skilled BI Solution Engineer to drive the modernization and automation of a sophisticated BI ecosystem. This hands-on role focuses on building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing reporting architectures, and leveraging automation to enhance data delivery. You will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to the technical evolution of data platforms within a fast-paced, agile setting.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize and automate BI pipelines using Python, SQL, and enterprise SDLC practices.
  • Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT frameworks and reporting-ready data models.
  • Utilize Tableau REST APIs to automate administration, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
  • Implement CI/CD-driven development using Git and GitHub to streamline BI deployments.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to design scalable table structures and data movement across Medallion Architecture layers.
  • Provide production support, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for complex data flows.
  • Work within an Agile delivery environment to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Requirements

  • 8-11 years of professional experience in BI or Data Engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development and Tableau, including REST APIs.
  • Strong command of Git, GitHub, and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Proven ability to design data models and reporting datasets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with Linux Shell/Bash scripting, Medallion Architecture, ElasticSearch, ES|QL, and Kafka is highly desirable.
  • Domain knowledge in Banking or Financial Services is a significant advantage.
