Infrastructure Engineer - Network Operations

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust network platforms that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our client's digital infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to proactively identify and resolve potential outages or vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement automated tasks and processes using scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement secure configurations to protect hardware, software, and data against cyber threats.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architects and product managers to define infrastructure requirements.
• Lead and guide team members, fostering professional development and coordinating resource allocation.
• Manage risk and strengthen controls in alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing data to reduce mean time to resolution for incidents.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in network fundamentals including routing, switching, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and edge services.
• Proven experience in incident, problem, and change management within an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Understanding of hybrid and cloud connectivity concepts and operational tooling.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and service health improvement initiatives.
• Ability to make evaluative judgments based on technical analysis and experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide team members.
• Awareness of risk and control requirements in highly regulated environments.
