Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts for a sophisticated software platform. You will be responsible for designing comprehensive test strategies and building robust automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases through rigorous end-to-end, API, and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex platform applications and services.
• Develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Conduct thorough end-to-end, integration, and API testing to ensure system reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and drive improvements in overall test coverage.
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Manage test documentation, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments.
• Validate frontend and backend components to ensure seamless platform functionality.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Expertise in test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in API testing, specifically with REST services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL for data validation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and Git version control.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and manage complex defect lifecycles.
• Experience with authentication and authorization testing protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on modern QA best practices.
