Senior QA Tester

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Tester to own quality across Tamasha's app ecosystem. You'll design and execute test strategies spanning manual and automated testing, work closely with engineering to catch issues before they reach users, and help build a culture of quality across a fast-moving, multi-app startup. You'll thrive in this role if you have a sharp eye for edge cases, enjoy breaking things before users do, and want to level up our testing practices as we scale to millions of users.

Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy and Planning: Own the test strategy and test plans for new features across Tamasha's apps. Write detailed test cases covering functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios. Define and track quality metrics (bug leakage, coverage, release readiness).
• Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual test cycles across web, Android, and iOS builds. Build and maintain automated test suites for regression and API testing. Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend behaviour.
• Collaboration and Process: Log, triage, and track bugs to closure using tools like Jira. Work closely with developers and product managers to reproduce and resolve issues. Mentor junior QA engineers and help raise the team's testing standards. Participate in sprint planning, release sign-offs, and post-release monitoring.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Strong experience writing test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar).
• Working knowledge of at least one automation framework (Selenium, Appium, or similar).
• Experience testing mobile apps (Android/iOS) and web applications.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar).
• Nice-to-have: experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Basic SQL skills for backend/data validation.
• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
• Interest in gaming, live streaming, or the creator economy.
• Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment.
