Position

SAP MM Lead Consultant

Experience

• 10+ years of SAP MM functional consulting experience.
• Minimum 2‿3 end to end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Strong experience in Application Management Support (AMS) and Production Support environments.
• Proven experience leading SAP MM teams and coordinating with cross functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and AMS support engagements.
• Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, configure SAP MM solutions, and support testing activities.
• Manage end to end support for Procurement, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Logistics Execution processes.
• Lead a team of SAP MM consultants and coordinate deliverables across functional and technical teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users and client stakeholders.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management activities while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Support cutover, go live, hypercare, and post production stabilization activities.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, ABAP, Integration, and Infrastructure teams during project execution.
• Mentor junior consultants and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM).
• Minimum 2‿3 full cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Strong experience in:
  • Procurement Process (P2P)
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • RFQ & Quotations
  • Contracts and Scheduling Agreements
  • Vendor Master
  • Source Determination
  • Third Party Procurement

AMS / Production Support Experience

• Strong AMS support experience with exposure to global support models.
• Hands on experience handling:
  • P1 (Critical)
  • P2 (High)
  • P3 (Medium)
  • P4 (Low)

    incidents within defined SLAs.

• Experience in:
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Defect Analysis
  • Continuous Service Improvement (CSI)
• Experience preparing RCA reports, trend analysis, and service review reports.
• Exposure to Hypercare support and transition to support activities.

Ticketing & Service Management Tools

Experience working with one or more of the following:

• SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
• ServiceNow
• Jira
• ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus
• BMC Remedy
• HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM
• Azure DevOps (preferred)

Strong experience integrating SAP MM with:

• Middleware such as SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

Fiori Experience

• Hands on experience using SAP Fiori applications for SAP MM.
• Understanding of Fiori based procurement processes.
• Experience supporting business users on Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of Fiori catalogs, roles, authorizations, and app activation is preferred.

Ariba Experience (Preferred)

• Experience with SAP Ariba is highly preferred.
• Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in global delivery and AMS support environments.
