We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with a strong focus on Oracle 12c to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our database systems to ensure high availability and performance. You will work closely with development teams to support database related tasks and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle 12c databases.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Perform regular backups and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
• Assist in database migrations and upgrades as needed.
• Provide support for database related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Oracle 12c database management.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
• Knowledge of database security practices and performance tuning.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
• Experience with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).
• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience with automation tools for database management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on Oracle 12c.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
