JUNIOR LOGISTICS OFFICER

About the Role

Transsion Manufacturing PLC is looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Logistics Officer to join our team in Addis Ababa.

This position is ideal for a fresh graduate who is eager to begin a career in logistics, supply chain management, and business operations. The successful candidate will support daily logistics activities, inventory coordination, shipment tracking, documentation, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily logistics and transportation activities.
• Support the receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor shipments and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain logistics documents, delivery notes, invoices, and shipment records.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams, suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments.
• Track incoming and outgoing goods and update inventory records accurately.
• Support import and export operations, including customs clearance documentation, when required.
• Assist in identifying and resolving delivery delays and inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular logistics reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics policies.
• Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Accounting, , Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of logistics processes, inventory control, and warehouse operations is an advantage.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
