Requirements:

3-5 years of hands-on experience building production backend systems at scale with Java and Spring Boot; strong proficiency is non-negotiable.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
Deep experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems; PostgreSQL or another relational database; SQL; query optimisation; schema design; and indexing.
Experience designing and operating high-throughput data processing or ETL pipelines.
Solid understanding of concurrency, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing.

Good to Have:

Experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, relevance tuning) in a search or data retrieval context.
Hands-on experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration frameworks.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards like HL7 FHIR, CCDA, and DICOM.
Exposure to LLM serving infrastructure, prompt orchestration, or AI pipeline design.
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
Experience with AWS / Azure, Docker / Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security best practices.
