What You'll Do
Analyze and optimize the syncing pipeline to move large volumes of data more quickly.
Develop real-time syncing capabilities and support streaming sources such as webhooks and queues.
Identify scalability and reliability bottlenecks, then design systems for significant growth.
Build and improve low-latency caching systems for real-time personalization workloads.
Extend multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure to support global data residency needs.
Own projects end to end and work directly with customers on challenging scaling problems.
What We're Looking For
At least 7 years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on depth in distributed systems and backend engineering.
Experience building and scaling complex, business-critical backend systems through substantial growth.
Background creating event collection or data streaming services, including experience with message queues, Kafka, SQL databases, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Understanding of infrastructure-level systems and tools such as Spark, Flink, and Kafka.
Experience building data sync systems that process and move large volumes of data is valuable.
Strong systems design fundamentals, communication skills, and ability to learn quickly.
Strong computer science fundamentals and a primary background in backend systems rather than data engineering or DevOps.
