Responsibilities:

All stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment

Actively owns and leads small to large deliverables

Manages self and team member(s) work to project scope, timeline, risk and budget

Coordinates with others when applicable

Listens to client requests, assesses actual client needs, provides subjective matters expertise, proposes alternatives and recommends solution(s)

Frequently discusses, and can articulate to clients, lessons learned from previous client experience

Manages client expectations

Proactively identify trouble spots for clients and recommend solutions

Contributes to the development of internal resources via mentoring, coaching and directing work

Participates in building the UST Brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups/chats and contributes advanced thinking and sharing of ideas within the ecosystem

Uses strong presentation, communication, listening and consultative skills to guide and drive discussions

Requirements:

Previous or active Workday certification in one or more HCM modules

Bachelor’s Degree or 4-year, master’s degree preferred (not mandatory)

6+ years of relevant Workday hand-on experience

Minimum of 3+ years across Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking domains

Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, while not losing focus on quality

Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage client expectations

Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams

Previous configuration experience preferred, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization

Proven consultative skills to guide clients and internal discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner

Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

Able to prioritize and organize increasingly complex work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent changes

Exhibits problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting issues and escalates as appropriate

Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction

Proven experience, demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas by leveraging available training and Workday documentation

Experience defining global HR business and systems strategy, developing system requirements, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

Prior experience in related HRMS (e.g. Oracle, Peoplesoft) in delivery or AMS/post-production support capacity is an added advantage
