Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience in handling large-scale IT systems, managing Government projects would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying IT solutions for government projects.
• Ensure alignment with security protocols and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and roadmaps.
• Oversee software development, infrastructure management, and system integrations.
• Drive innovation, implement best practices, and optimize processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and ensure optimal utilization of resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for skill development
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance project outcomes
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Architectural Design and implement software architectures, ensuring scalability,performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify and implement solutions, and ensure systems meet requirement. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and optimization strategies

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in enterprise IT solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, government IT policies, and compliance standards (preferably)
• Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Python, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills
• Skills: Java architecture, Springboot, Microservices architecture, Azure/GCP, Kafka/Rabbit MQ, Code review, DSA
• Experience: 8+ years
