• You must be graduating after November 1st, 2026 OR you must have a student status as of February 1st, 2027
• You must hold EU or EEA (European Economic Area) citizenship

CRM is a top strategic priority for VF to drive sustainable and profitable growth with a customer centric approach.

As the Marketing Automation Intern, you will support the team in leveraging the full capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for VF brands. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help with the transition from mass-mailing to 1:1 Journeys, learning how personalized communications foster customer engagement.

You will be part of the central digital team and you will have the opportunity to work with all lifestyle brands across the VF portfolio. Throughout the internship, and especially during the first six months, you will be closely guided by the team, with a strong focus on learning and support rather than full ownership of activities, so you can grow at the right pace in your first professional experience.

How you will make a difference

Get ready to make an impact! Here’s what you’ll be responsible for joining our team as Marketing Automation Intern:

• Support customer journeys: assist and partner with the brands on the Journey Builder operation, helping to set up new triggers and update existing journeys under supervision, contributing to customer engagement and eCommerce revenue.
• Automation Studio Activities: assist in writing SQL queries and building data filters to help segment the customer database and prepare customized data extensions.
• Email Personalization: support the creation of dynamic, personalized emails using AmpScript language and user data, while developing your technical skills.
• Contact Builder: assist in setting up and maintaining data extensions in Marketing Cloud, ensuring alignment with the current Data Model.
• Reporting and Analytics Builder: partner with and assist the brands in preparing standard and customized reports to help improve the KPIs shown and support performance.

Skills that will make you succeed:

We are looking for someone passionate about both digital marketing and sportswear, fashion, or apparel industries.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in / currently studying Computer Science, or related field.
• Certification of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist a plus.
• Any other digital marketing certification or training attended is a plus.
• Fluent in English with solid writing and oral skills (German, French, Italian is a plus).

Personal skills:

• Demonstrated superior analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proactive mindset and first-class attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively.
• Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset.

Technical skills:

• Ability to write SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
• Working experience with Jira a plus.
