We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head - Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to lead and oversee global security operations in a 24x7 environment. The ideal candidate will have 15-25 years of experience in security operations, command centers, risk management, incident response, and enterprise security leadership.

The role will be responsible for establishing and managing a robust Global Security Operations function, ensuring continuous monitoring, rapid incident response, operational resilience, and effective coordination across regions. The candidate will lead a high-performing security operations team and work closely with senior leadership, corporate security, technology, risk, business continuity, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's 24x7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and ensure uninterrupted security monitoring and response across geographies.
• Develop and implement a global security operations strategy aligned with organizational risk and business objectives.
• Oversee real-time monitoring of physical security, critical incidents, threats, alarms, travel risks, emergency situations, and other security events.
• Establish and maintain standardized 24/7 security operations processes, procedures, escalation matrices, and incident response protocols.
• Lead the identification, assessment, escalation, and resolution of security incidents in coordination with relevant internal and external teams.
• Build, mentor, and manage a geographically distributed GSOC team, including shift-based operations and leadership coverage.
• Define operational KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and performance dashboards to continuously improve GSOC effectiveness.
• Partner with corporate security, facilities, IT, cybersecurity, business continuity, HR, legal, and senior leadership teams during critical incidents.
• Develop crisis management and emergency response frameworks for major security events and business disruptions.
• Evaluate emerging security threats, geopolitical developments, and operational risks that may impact employees, facilities, assets, or business operations.
• Manage relationships with external security service providers, intelligence partners, technology vendors, and emergency response agencies.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of GSOC technologies, monitoring platforms, communication systems, case-management tools, and security intelligence solutions.
• Conduct regular reviews, audits, drills, and post-incident assessments to identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, reporting, governance, and compliance across global security operations.

Must-Have Skills

• 24x7 Security Operations Management
• Strong experience leading Global Security Operations
• Proven leadership of large, distributed, or multi-location security teams
• Expertise in security incident management, crisis response, and escalation management
• Strong command-center / GSOC operations experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience developing security policies, SOPs, playbooks, and operational frameworks
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, threat monitoring, and business continuity
• Ability to manage high-pressure incidents and make time-critical decisions

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience managing or transforming a GSOC
• Exposure to global security intelligence and geopolitical risk monitoring
• Experience with GSOC platforms, security technology, incident-management systems, and intelligence tools
• Certifications in security, risk, crisis management, or business continuity
• Experience working across multiple countries and regulatory environments

Experience

15-25 years of overall experience, with significant experience in 24/7 Global Security Operations, GSOC leadership, corporate security, command centers, or enterprise security management.
