- Develop and support WMS customisations using MOCA commands, PageBuilder, MTF/RF forms, WMS Integrator, IFD mappings, and relevant application algorithms.
- Upgrade and maintain modifications across legacy WMS versions, including releases from 2012 through 2024.
- Rapidly build working knowledge of newer WMS platforms, including CE WMS 2025 and subsequent versions, to support customer migrations.
- Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases to support application functionality, data processing, and integrations.
- Apply technical and functional knowledge of inbound operations, outbound fulfilment, inventory management, and warehouse workflows.
- Collaborate with Scrum Leads and team members on requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, code reviews, and delivery of user stories.
- Participate in sprint planning, Scrum calls, progress reviews, and status meetings, providing timely updates on tasks and dependencies.
- Own assigned modifications and enhancements through development, testing, defect resolution, and customer UAT.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Analyse customisation requirements and estimate development effort for senior-level and architectural assignments.
- Design workflows, system integrations, and technical solutions for complex WMS requirements at the Technical Architect level.
- Use Git and established development practices to maintain code quality, version control, and collaboration.
- Continuously develop technical expertise to address evolving customer and platform requirements.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of software development experience, with relevant hands-on experience in warehouse management systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Git, REST APIs, XML/XSLT, MS SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Practical experience with WMS customisation, application architecture, and integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of MOCA commands, PageBuilder, MTF/RF forms, WMS Integrator, IFD mappings, and WMS algorithms.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management.
- Experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application environments.
- Experience with WMS upgrades, migrations, custom modifications, testing, and customer UAT.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and effort-estimation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage assigned deliverables, and collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication skills and availability for scheduled project and status calls.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile project management workflows is desirable.
- For Senior WMS Developers and Technical Architects, experience in customisation estimation and solution design is preferred; Technical Architects should additionally demonstrate expertise in workflow and integration architecture.
