Support warranty service activities within occupied homes by evaluating reported deficiencies and completing repairs where appropriate.

Coordinate professionally with homeowners, Customer Care team members, Quality Control personnel, Construction, Property Management, and trade partners to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner.

Inspect completed work to ensure repairs meet Wesgroup quality standards and customer expectations, while identifying recurring issues and communicating concerns to management.

Maintain safe work practices, participate in training and process improvement initiatives, and stay current on repair techniques, materials, tools, and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma/GED required; trade certification, apprenticeship training, or coursework in carpentry, finishing trades, drywall, painting, construction, or a related discipline is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential construction, repair, finishing, renovation, warranty service, or trade-related experience.

Experience completing drywall repairs, painting, and finishing work; experience with a residential developer, builder, renovation company, or warranty service provider is an asset.

Strong technical skills in drywall repair, residential painting and colour matching, caulking and sealant application, cabinet/hardware/trim/millwork adjustments, tile, flooring, countertop and surface repair, and general carpentry.

Ability to assess deficiencies, determine practical repair solutions, and complete work with strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Strong customer service and communication skills, with professionalism to work directly with homeowners, residents, internal teams, and trades.

Ability to safely operate hand tools and repair equipment, and comfort working in a physical, site-based environment with regular travel between sites and homes.
