SAP R2R Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced SAP R2R Solution Architect / SAP FICO Solution Architect with strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI and core R2R processes. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, solution design, configuration, data migration, and finance integrations. This is a technical hands-on role, requiring candidates who can independently understand business requirements, design solutions, and explain/execute SAP configuration, not only manage teams or stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO / R2R implementations from requirement gathering through go-live and hypercare.
• Design and configure core SAP Finance processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA)
• Design solutions around: Company Code, Ledgers and Extension Ledgers, Currencies and parallel currency requirements, Core R2R processes
• Perform SAP FI configuration and customization based on business requirements.
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design, business blueprinting, and functional specifications.
• Handle data migration activities, including mapping, validation, mock migration, and cutover.
• Design and support integrations between SAP Finance and other modules such as FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-CO, Third-party applications.
• Work on enhancements, interfaces, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve complex finance processes and integration issues.
• Ensure SAP Finance solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.

Requirements:

• 12-18 years of SAP FICO / SAP Finance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI / R2R.
• Excellent knowledge of GL, AP, AR, and asset accounting.
• Minimum 3 strong end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on SAP configuration and solution design.
• Experience with company code, ledgers, extension ledgers, and currencies.
• Hands-on data migration experience.
• Strong FI-MM and FI-SD integration knowledge.
• Experience with enhancements, functional specifications, and interfaces.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience across SIT/UAT, cutover, and go-live.
• Ability to explain actual configuration and implementation approach, not just theoretical knowledge.

Good to Have:

• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
• SAP Activate / ASAP methodology.
• Exposure to Bank Accounting / BCM.
• Fiori.
• IDOCs / APIs / third-party integrations.
• Workflow configuration.
• Central Finance / Group Reporting exposure.
• Experience with global/multi-country implementations.

CO Knowledge:

• Deep CO expertise is not mandatory. A fair working understanding of the following is sufficient: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO-PA concepts, General FI/CO integration

Ideal Candidate:

• We are looking for someone who is technically hands-on, with strong core FI/R2R implementation experience.
• Candidates whose experience is primarily people management, PMO, finance operations, stakeholder management, or transformation governance without hands-on SAP FI configuration may not be suitable.
