Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure & Cloud Platform
Role Overview
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices including GitOps and Infrastructure as Code.
Key
Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end DevOps architecture for cloud-native applications. Build and manage container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes (AKS/GKE). Implement GitOps practices, preferably using Flux, for automated deployments and environment consistency. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across environments. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release cycles. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and deployment processes. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including AKS and/or GKE. Proven experience with GitOps tools, preferably Flux. Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Solid experience working with Azure and GCP cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of DevOps architecture and best practices. Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture. Good scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar).
Preferred
Qualifications Experience in designing enterprise-scale DevOps solutions. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments. Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.). Certifications in Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes are a plus.
Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
