Your impact:

We're looking for a resourceful, data-driven SEO Specialist to join our marketing department of over 150 specialists in Cluj-Napoca. You'll own SEO strategy for WeWork.com, a global coworking and flexible workspace platform attracting hundreds of thousands of users each month across dozens of markets and languages.

Your focus will be improving search visibility, indexing efficiency, and multi-language SEO across traditional search engines and emerging generative AI platforms (GEO). You'll collaborate closely with content, design, development, and localization teams to optimize on-page and off-page strategies. This role offers exceptional opportunities for driven, results-oriented marketers as you’ll be working in a highly competitive landscape, using cutting-edge SEO tools.

This position is available in a hybrid regime that implies working from the office at least once a week. Therefore, please take into account that you would need to be located in or near the Cluj-Napoca area.

What you'll bring along:

• 3+ years of SEO experience with measurable impact on organic traffic and/or revenue;
• Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, crawl budget management, site architecture, structured data, ranking factors, and algorithm updates;
• Very good understanding of how structured, authoritative content performs in AI search, with hands-on experience in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven content discovery strategies;
• Strong understanding of local SEO and how to optimize for visibility in maps platforms;
• Highly analytical mindset, demonstrating the ability to interpret Semrush, Google Analytics and Search Console data and turn it into actionable, executive-ready recommendations;
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS sufficient for diagnosing on-page issues and communicating effectively with developers;
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken), sufficient for writing SEO recommendations, presenting to global stakeholders, and evaluating English-language content.

It is considered a plus:

• Experience with AI-assisted SEO, workflows and skills;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Background in real estate, hospitality, or marketplace SEO;
• Familiarity with conversion optimization, A/B testing and multivariate experiments.

What you'll do:

• Optimize website architecture, content, and internal linking to improve SEO performance;
• Develop and execute on-page and off-page strategies to improve WeWork's visibility in AI-powered search experiences (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Claude), including content structuring, entity optimization, and authority building;
• Closely manage SEO tracking tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Botify, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to monitor and report on site performance and visibility;
• Monitor keyword rankings and SEO KPIs regularly, compiling performance reports and dashboards to highlight trends, insights, and opportunities;
• Develop and present SEO strategies, reports and recommendations to business stakeholders;
• Conduct ongoing keyword research, discovery, and optimization;
• Partner with the larger team to integrate SEO best practices into content creation and programming;
• Work with development teams to implement on-site SEO initiatives;
• Benchmark industry websites for organic visibility, keyword strategy, backlink profiles, and technical structure to identify gaps and potential areas for improvement;
• Stay current with search algorithm updates, AI search evolution, and competitor strategies to continuously identify new opportunities.
