Senior Software Engineer (Metal Processing Software)

By ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technologies (SMT), you will be responsibleforhigh-quality software development as part of a well-functioning team, review code commits, mentor junior colleagues, design and follow CI/CD processes, and collaborate closely with the software architect and requirements engineer.
The role of Senior Software Engineerwill involve:
Develop high quality software solution as part of a well-functioning team
Review code commits
Be mentor for junior colleagues
Design and follow CI/CD processes
Technical alignment with stakeholders
Work together closely with software architect and requirement engineer
Your Experience
A degree in business information technology or a comparable qualification
Confident handling of C# and .NET 8
Confident handling of WPF,
Knowledge of the use of WCF and GraphQL famework,
Knowledge of the use machine communication protocols, like OPCUA
Understanding of componentlevel software design e.g.OOP, SOLID, Software design patterns (GoF)
It would be desirable if you had:
Experience in industrial automation. It is an advantage if didn’tonly work with, but already designed a SCADA system
System thinking mindset: able to understand the machine’s operation and the software at the system level.
Confidencein English communication. Additional German knowledge is an advantage
