Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with experience in Ad monetization or Ad Technology systems to shape, execute & distribute our Ad Technology SDK across 50+ Games at Zynga!  This role specializes in key aspects of our product lifecycle, building customized ad formats for our games and delivering experiments, readouts and optimizations.

This role requires a blend of product management and ad monetization experience. Ideal candidates should have experience working on monetization/payments systems and should be deeply familiar with how games balance engagement with IAA/IAP monetization.

What You'll Do

• Lead experiments for our Advertising platform from experiment design through analysis and rollout -> fine-tuning supply and demand side features that impact how our players see ads, and how we price them
• Support the distribution and updates of our SDK releases across 50+ games through different studio build paths
• Execute against our product strategy customizing game-side logic on ad loading, surfacing and trigger points
• Identify problems or areas of optimization with our core ad serving logic, and design new solutions that challenge our product's status quo
• Maintain a pulse on the rapidly evolving Ad Tech landscape, including new ad formats, platform requirements, and privacy changes
• Help us develop 0-1 systems, including automating our SDK upgrades through build pipelines
• Support our live operations business lines on an ongoing basis, providing technical insight and expertise into how to fix problems and triage issues
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify new product opportunities and improvements.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Ad Technology, monetization, or similar domains in the mobile or gaming space.
• Ad Tech Knowledge: Strong understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem, including ad mediation, ad networks, SDKs, DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and programmatic advertising.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and drive product decisions. Required experience writing SQL queries to extract data and articulate your analysis
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to describe complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to work closely with engineering teams and discuss technical trade-offs.
• Experience working on ad technology systems either on the buy or sell side of the industry (DSP or SSP)
• Experience working on games or in the free-to-play mobile market.
• Prior experience with ad platform integrations and third-party vendor management
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Economics or a related field.

What We Offer You

The pay range for this position in Ontarioat the start of employment is expected to be between $96,400 and $135,000 per Year.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such

as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. 

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
