Overview
Redwood Materials is a circular economy and battery recycling company focused on creating a closed-loop supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy storage. Founded by former Tesla CTO JB Straubel, the firm recovers critical metals like lithium, nickel, cobalt, and copper from used electronics and manufacturing scrap to produce high-performance battery components domestically.
