Business Analyst

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Business Analyst in the Oil and Gas Sector in calgary, Alberta.
The main function of a Business Analyst - Non-Technical is to maintain vendor relationships for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The Business Analyst - Non-Technical usually reports to a project manager or director.
Total rewards:

• $45.00 - $55.00 hourly
• 5 Months of contract position
• Mon to Fri IN office

A typical day:

• Support SCM systems and applications, including investigation and resolution of business process and system issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, including development of test scenarios, coordination of testing, defect tracking, and validation of requirements
• Analyze business data and system information to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams on system enhancements and project activities.

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources, or relevant field required, 2-4 years related experience required.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and business processes.
• Experience supporting system testing, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise business systems is an asset.
• Exposure to SCM applications, Source-to-Pay processes, automation, or reporting tools such as Power BI is an asset
