EPIC Owner

Job Title

We are looking for a EPIC Owner, Solution Center to support airline customers by managing requirements, coordinating product dependencies, providing technical consulting, and ensuring successful solution delivery. In this role, you will collaborate with customers, Product Management, Customer Success Engineers, Architects, and R&D teams to define solutions, manage dependencies, and drive customer satisfaction across the engagement lifecycle.

Common Accountabilities

• Demonstrate strong functional and technical expertise to support customer engagements and solution delivery activities.
• Understand customer business needs and provide appropriate solution recommendations.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and impacts while ensuring effective communication across stakeholders.
• Communicate complex business and technical information clearly to both internal and external audiences.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating across multiple teams and functions.

Specific Accountabilities

Customer Engagement & Requirements Definition

• Gather and clarify customer requirements to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Represent the business perspective and ensure the customer voice is considered in internal forums.
• Identify opportunities to position Amadeus products that align with customer needs.
• Analyze customer and internal requirements and propose functional and technical solution recommendations supported by clear rationale.

Product Dependency Management & Coordination

• Ensure committed dependencies on Amadeus product features are delivered on time with the support of Customer Success Engineers and relevant Business Domains.
• Manage communication and mitigation plans when delivery slippages occur.
• Identify and monitor impacts across Amadeus Solutions and Products and ensure they are addressed by the appropriate teams.
• Define, develop, and maintain communication between commercial organizations and R&D teams for complex solutions and escalations.

Solution Consulting & Technical Support

• Provide recommendations on architectural and technical aspects in collaboration with Architects, Customer Success Engineers, and Functional Architects.
• Coordinate internal Amadeus dependencies required for successful solution delivery.
• Support customers and internal teams in understanding Amadeus product features, including functionality, configuration, technical behavior, and documentation.
• Perform basic implementation activities when required.
• Conduct initial investigations of defects identified during the construction phase and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Provide recommendations for new solutions in collaboration with R&D teams and coordinate required inputs.
• Document and present solution recommendations to customers.

Delivery Oversight & Stakeholder Management

• Present new features and solutions to customer stakeholders from both business and IT organizations.
• Facilitate discussions among Product Management, Solution and Train Leaders, Product Owners, and Customer Success Engineers to support successful delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for transversal subjects and strategic initiatives.
• Provide stakeholders with regular and relevant status updates throughout all stages of the engagement.

Communication & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals and provide constructive feedback.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships within Amadeus and with customers and external partners.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in Product Management, Implementation Management, Project Management, Technical Consulting, or a similar role within the travel industry.
• Good presentation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
• Good sense of ownership and accountability.
