Principal Functional ArchitectAs a Principal Functional Architect, you will shape and articulate the technical vision for strategic airline solutions. You'll collaborate with research and development, product teams, and major airline customers to ensure designs align with enterprise objectives while addressing customer needs. In this role, you’ll:
- Analyze customer requirements and formulate clear solution architectures for complex, multi-functional projects.
- Ensure solution designs balance enterprise strategy, technical feasibility, and customer expectations.
- Present solution recommendations and facilitate alignment across internal teams and external airline partners.
- Support product, sales, and account teams by providing functional and technical insights.
- Maintain reusable solution assets and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and technology adoption opportunities.
- Contribute to the design of innovative, scalable applications in collaboration with technical stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Extensive experience in technical architecture, solution design, or related roles (typically 10+ years).
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale applications, with exposure to distributed systems and modern architectures.
- Strong understanding of software development principles across methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and experience with frameworks such as Java, Spring, Angular, and related web technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing, application design patterns, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes (airline industry experience is an advantage).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with evolving technologies such as Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and Cloud platforms.
